How do I travel to San Miguel De Allende?

To get to San Miguel de Allende (SMA) you can fly from your point of origin to either Queretaro or Leon, Gto.


The distance from Queretaro to SMA is roughly 1 hr 30 min.
The distance from Leon, Gto to SMA is roughly 2hrs 30 min. 


Once you arrive to the airport you can get a taxi or a van to transport you to SMA. You can also contact either of the people listed below to schedule your transportation from the airport to your final destination.

Will I need a passport to travel to San Miguel de Allende?

If you are flying from the US to Mexico, you will require a passport to travel.

If you are crossing the border to Mexico and traveling to your flight, you will need your passport and a travelers permit.

If you are a Mexican citizen flying from within Mexico, you do not need a passport.

Am I allowed to bring my children to the wedding?

Although we love your little ones, we have decided to have our wedding be an adults-only event.

How would I get from the ceremony to the reception?

There will be multiple sprinter vans waiting at the main Plaza on the corner of "Correo & Diez de Sollano y Davalos", outside of the church, to transport guests to the Hacienda.

If you will not be attending the ceremony, you can get to the Hacienda via Taxi or Uber.

What should I wear to a Black Tie event?

For women, black tie means a formal floor length dress. Spring colors encouraged.

For men, black tie means a dark colored tuxedo or suit with a tie.

What should I wear for the Callejoneada?

The attire for the Callejoneada is all white for guests! We recommend for you to wear comfortable shoes as we will be walking on cobblestones.
